The City is in the process of studying potential Housing Corridors within the City of Torrance. The Housing Corridor Study has led to the creation of a new option for property owners who want to develop their industrial or commercial properties for residential use. This new option is called the Housing Corridor Overlay, which allows property owners to pursue residential development while keeping their existing zoning and permitted uses intact.
